💻 Embracing Remote Work

The pandemic led us to transition to a fully remote environment, saying goodbye to our physical office. This change has allowed us to work alongside our partners, family, and pets, sometimes making unexpected appearances in our meetings 😄.

This transition has enabled us to tap into talent nationwide, offering unparalleled flexibility and a more harmonious work-life balance. Without having to commute, we have reclaimed time for our personal activities, all while enjoying the comfort of working in our pajamas, if we so desire.

⏰ Morning Check-Ins

Once a week, we organize a voluntary 15-minute virtual check-in around 10 am. It is a conversation-free space, focusing instead on informal conversations and warm greetings. This ritual serves as a gentle wake-up for night owls and a pleasant break for early birds, ensuring that everyone starts the day with positivity.

❤︎ Prioritizing Well-being

The transition to remote work presents its challenges, including the temptation to overwork. To counteract this, we have implemented measures to help our team structure their day effectively:

  • Calendar reminders to indicate the start and end of the workday.

  • Encouraging participation in non-work activities, such as midday walks or exercise, promoting a clear separation between work and personal time.

  • Weekly co-working days for in-person collaboration.

  • Designated coffee break times, offering a moment of relaxation alone or with colleagues.

👥 Staying Connected

Our monthly team meetings keep everyone informed about company updates, ongoing projects, and achievements. We incorporate games and activities to make these meetings enjoyable and engaging, strengthening our bond as a team.

☕️ Virtual Coffee Breaks

Every month, we organize a "virtual coffee break" with randomly selected team members to unwind and chat about any topic, fostering camaraderie.
